Stephen Jackson
CEO and President

Stephen has been working directly or indirectly in the healthcare industry since 1987 when he helped launch the FHP Medicare Advantage plan in California. In 1987 he founded Communique which provided marketing services to numerous insurance companies including Aetna. In 1994 he founded Plan Data Management, a revenue management and analytics company focused on the Payer market. The company had over 50 Payers as clients including five of the top Payers, multiple Blues plans and numerous regional plans and was the market leader for revenue management systems to the Medicare managed care market. In 2007 the company was acquired by TriZetto and Stephen became SVP of Government programs.

In 2010 Stephen left to consult and invest in entrepreneurs in the healthcare service sector. Companies included eCaring, Fit4D and Beacon in which he is an investor and board director. In 2012 he also joined the board of ElderPlan, a New York health plan. 

Clint Reid
General Manager

Clint Reid is the General Manager of AlignCare’s response to both the payer market and the insurance market.  He has over 30 years of relevant healthcare experience which includes 20 years between CIGNA and UnitedHealth Group. Over the past 10 years he has primarily been in the healthcare innovation space focusing on clinical workflow and population health solutions.  He was the General Manager of Medecision’s payer segment and lead plan sales between 2009 and 2013. 
In 2014 he joined Altruista Health as EVP of Business Development where he helped the company become a leader in the population health segment.   He has broad experience in self-funded medical plan management and Medicaid and Medicare risk and cost containment.  He is based out of the greater New York City area and is a graduate of the University of Rochester.

Manon Ruben, MA
Chief Product Officer

Manon began her career at Dartmouth Medical School, Epidemiology, conducting research on geographic variations in the utilization and cost of health care (small area analysis), and participated in the formation of the Codman Research Group, Inc. (CRG) in 1984. At CRG, Ms. Ruben incorporated JHU’s Adjusted Clinical Groups System (ACGs) into CRG’s software products, and the company became the leading reseller of ACGs. As CRG’s Vice President, and later as V.P. at AdvanceMed/DynCorp/CSC, she worked with state and federal health agencies as well as commercial health plans refining risk adjustment methodologies, defining quality and outcome objectives, and conducting cost and quality analyses.
As consultant to Quality Resource Systems, Inc. (Fairfax, VA), Ms. Ruben helped implement its contract with the DHHS/OS/OPHS/Office on Women’s Health that created a national county level database collating federal and state sources on women’s health, developing educational materials and providing on-site training. On QRS’ contracts with CMS, she helped establish tests for encounter data validity and devise evaluation criteria for PQRI (Physicians Quality Reporting Initiative, now renamed PQRS) and served on the team that developed quality measures for Medicare and Medicaid Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) incorporated into ACA health reform legislation. As consultant to Plan Data Management (PDM – later TriZetto), Ms. Ruben contributed to product refinements and developed and patented an episode analysis system using pharmacy data to identify patients for medication and disease management interventions. She currently leads development for AlignCare’s PrescienceRx and PrescienceMRI (Medication Risk Indicator) products.
Jo Anne Lutz
Director of Client Service

JoAnne has an extensive career and experience across diverse healthcare organizations. Her knowledge spans predictive risk science, cost and quality measurement, clinical nursing, and strategic planning. Prior to joining AlignCare in 2016, Jo Anne filled senior positions in the following organizations: Director of Client Solutions at Verisk Health; Director of Channel Partners at DxCG; Healthcare Market Specialist at AdvanceMed / CSC; Director of State Healthcare at Codman Research Group; and Director of Strategic Planning at University Health Plan, affiliated with the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

In addition to her expertise in population health management and predictive analytics, Jo Anne spent 20 years as a clinical nurse in major medical centers including Case Western Reserve University Hospital, U.C.L.A, and Maine Medical Center. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Care Planning from the University of Cincinnati and has published research in peer reviewed journals in the fields of healthcare management and law. From 2012 – 2015, Jo Anne was a guest lecturer at the Harvard School of Public Health.
